ISLAMABAD – According to Chaudhary Fawad Hussain, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s Rashan Discount Program has so far enrolled nine point six million households and over ten thousand retail outlets.
He added this figure is continuously climbing in a tweet today (Wednesday).
He stated that this initiative will provide a thirty percent discount on wheat, beans, and ghee to twenty million households.
According to the minister, 700,000 food outlets would become a source of support for people worth 120 billion rupees.
