ISLAMABAD (A News) On Friday, the federal government reduced petrol prices by Re1 per liter for the next two weeks.
The finance ministry issued a notice lowering the petrol price by Re1 to 254.63 a liter.
The government has dropped fuel prices by Re1 per liter, reducing the new price to Rs254.63 per liter, down from Rs255.63 per liter.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel remains unchanged at Rs258.64 per liter.
According to the announcement, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) assessed petroleum product prices for customers based on worldwide market variations.
On March 15, the federal government announced that gasoline prices will remain constant for the following two weeks.
Petrol, which is commonly used in private transport, small cars, rickshaws, and motorbikes, has a direct impact on the daily budgets of middle and lower-middle-class households who rely largely on it for transportation.
