ISLAMABAD: Mumtaz Mustafa, a Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member of the Pakistan National Assembly, departed on Monday.

The Rahim Yar Khan-born PTI MNA passed away at the parliament buildings from a heart arrest.

The National Assembly’s spokesperson verified the news of Mustafa’s passing while calling off today’s meeting without any action.

Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that he was saddened by Mustafa’s passing and recalled their shared Friday prayers.
