ISLAMABAD — According to the United Nations’ most recent report, Pakistan faces a serious threat of terrorism from the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to the UN assessment, Pakistan faces dangers from extremists who support TTP and are sheltering in Afghanistan. It has also been reported that the TTP has increased the number of attacks in Pakistan.

The United Nations has emphasized the increased support and collaboration between the TTP, the Taliban, and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, where they share manpower and training centers. They collaborated and launched violent operations under the umbrella of Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP).
