Asad Qaiser, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former National Assembly speaker, sought asylum in the Peshawar High Court on Friday to avoid arrest.
Despite having obtained bail in all cases, police were present in the courtroom.
Asad Qaiser, along with other Tehreek-e-Insaf MNAs, barricaded themselves inside the Peshawar High Court for two hours.
Furthermore, despite having won bail orders, former Swabi MPA Rangiz Khan was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Department immediately after leaving the high court.
