Justice Musarrat Hilali took her oath as a Supreme Court of Pakistan judge on Friday, becoming the country’s second female justice.
Ms Hilali was sworn in by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial at a ceremony attended by other Supreme Court judges, lawyers, and officials. She has been appointed for a three-year term. Her appointment brings the total number of judges to 16.
