Senator Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, directed the relevant authorities on Thursday to bring up appropriate legislation as soon as possible to allow the fast resumption of PIA flights to the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).
According to a press release published by the finance ministry, the minister was chairing a meeting on Civil Aviation Division (CAA) and Airport Security Force (ASF) issues.
Previously, the minister was briefed on the difficulties confronting the aviation industry in terms of legislation, service provision, and security functions.
