Ali Muhammad Khan, the PTI leader, was re-arrested on Tuesday by the anti-corruption establishment (ACE).

According to sources, Khan was detained for abusing his position of power during development initiatives run by Mardan’s union councils. Khan’s bail in the case of illegal recruitments had already been authorised by the court.

According to sources, the government has begun making preparations to file charges against Ishtiaq Armar, Taimoor Jhagra, Karman Bangash, Fazl Elahi, Asad Qaisar, and Arbab Jahandad.

Khan was re-arrested two weeks ago after the Peshawar High Court (PHC) ordered his freedom. According to the police, he was also a nominee in a corruption case.
