ISLAMABAD : In order to smooth the way for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif’s entry back into the nation, the legal committee was established on Sunday.
Azam Nazeer Tarar, the law minister, is expected to lead the committee, according to sources. Along with other attorneys, the committee also included SAPM Ata Tarar, Irfan Qadir, Amjad Pervaiz, and others.
The committee would do all possible to get any legal obstacles in the way of Nawaz’s entry back into the nation.
Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, will have significant meetings today.
Nawaz, who was in Dubai with his family, will reportedly meet the royal family, according to sources. He will also engage in business interactions. Maryam Nawaz, the PML-N’s main organiser, will go with Nawaz.
Nawaz Sharif has been accorded preferential treatment by the Dubai government.
Azam Nazeer Tarar, the law minister, had earlier said that the PML-N leader will return to the nation after consulting with the party.
Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, has now indicated that Nawaz would run the PML-N’s campaign in the next general elections, which are set for this October.
Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi discussed the political climate in the nation on Tuesday.
Following their discussion at Hasan Nawaz’s office, Mr. Abbasi gave a statement to the media in which he said that “decisions have not been taken, but consultations have taken place.”
“My leader, Nawaz Sharif, and I are pals as well. I had a good meeting with Nawaz Sharif. Within the ranks of the PML-N, there is no divide, he said.
