Former Mahmood Moulvi, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was appointed president of the Sindh branch of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Friday.

IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan and IPP Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen gave their assent for the announcement to be made by IPP Secretary General Aamer Mehmood Kiani.

Aleem Khan declared on Thursday that his party will assist the masses who were struggling with skyrocketing inflation and terrible poverty.

At the IPP’s first meeting of its manifesto committee, which was chaired by Aleem Khan, the document was carefully examined. The IPP will “represent” the people, according to Aleem, and “fulfil their expectations.”
