Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, the leader of the Awami Muslim League (AML), expressed worry on Friday about election transparency because he believes there was irregular activity in the Karachi mayor election.
The former interior minister claimed in a series of tweets that time will show the PPP what it had missed by avoiding the Jamaat-e-Islami only for the mayor’s position. The results of the Karachi mayor polls, he claimed, were only a “trailer of the national election,” and he urged everyone to exercise caution.
