Vladimir Putin, a local, stated on Tuesday that while Russia needed to combat hostile agents and strengthen its defence against strikes deep inside its borders, there was no need to emulate Ukraine and impose martial law.
Putin said in front of a televised gathering of Russian war reporters and military bloggers: “There is no cause to impose some type of special regime or martial rule in the nation. “Such a thing is not necessary in the present.”
According to Putin, Ukraine’s extensive counteroffensive, which started on June 4, has failed in every region and resulted in ten times as many casualties as Russia.
