On Friday night, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Ankara, Turkey, on a two-day official visit to attend Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s inauguration, which is slated to take place today (Saturday).

When Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at Ankara’s Esenboga Airport, he was met by high-ranking officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the Pakistan Mission in Turkey.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi will join the Prime Ministers on their visit to Turkiye.

The Prime Minister is in Turkiye at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to attend a ceremony marking his re-election in the recent presidential election.
