LAHORE – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered a huge setback on Wednesday when its prominent leader, Fawad Chaudhry, announced his intention to quit the party.
Mr Chaudhry remarked on Twitter, “My prior remarks where I absolutely opposed 9th May atrocities.
“I have decided to take a break from politics,” he said, “so I have resigned from my party position and am parting ways with Imran Khan.”
