(Web Desk) LAHORE – Usama Mir, a Pakistani leg spinner, has agreed to play in the T20 Blast for Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Mr Mir will play three matches for the English county. He has been hired as a replacement for New Zealand player Mitchell Santner.
The T20 Blast kicks off today, with eleven Pakistani players, including Usama Mir, showcasing their talents.
Former captain Azhar Ali has also been selected by Worcestershire, while Hasan Ali has been selected by Birmingham Bears.
In addition, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, Zafar Gohar, Muhammad Abbas, and Shadab Khan will play in the T20 Blast.
