In their Europa League semifinal first leg on Thursday, Juventus and Sevilla drew 1-1 thanks to a goal from Federico Gatti in the 97th minute.

The historic six-time winners took the lead in the first half on a goal from Youssef En-Nesyri, and before Gatti’s late intervention, they were poised to transfer that advantage back to Seville.

In the 26th minute, Moroccan international En-Nesyri scored in Turin after a quick counterattack.

Jose Luis Mendilibar’s team deservedly had a lead at halftime, and despite Juventus’ improvement, the Andalucians effectively kept them out in an effort to carry that advantage to the boisterous Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan the next week.
