Pakistani authorities have decided to free 500 Indian prisoners, 499 of whom are fishermen who have served their sentences.

Indian inmates will be released from prison in stages. Today, 200 inmates will be freed from Malir District Jail and sent to Lahore.

The Edhi Foundation will help the released Indian convicts travel to Lahore by train, which will be turned over to Indian officials at the Wagah border on Friday (tomorrow).
