Khanewal (A News) – During a sweep, police claimed to have apprehended 33 alleged drug traffickers, 10 of whom were injured, from various locations, Dunya News reported Sunday night.

According to DPO Ismail, a crackdown on drug dealers has been initiated in several parts of Khanewal. During raids, 10 outlaws were wounded in shootouts with police. They opened fire, which resulted in retaliation and injuries.

The district police seized 53 kilograms Charas, 2 kg heroin, and 1 kg ice. The DPO warned that narcotics traffickers will be treated with zero tolerance. Those captured in raids have been imprisoned. The investigation was underway.
