ISLAMABAD: Petrol product prices have been slashed by the federal government by up to Rs3.40 a liter; the new rates go into effect at midnight tomorrow.
The new price of petrol is Rs247.03 per litre, down from Rs249.10 per litre due to a reduction of Rs2.07 per litre by the government.
High-speed diesel is now available at Rs246.29 per liter, down from Rs249.69 per liter, after a reduction of Rs3.40 per liter.
Comparably, light diesel now costs Rs140.90 per liter instead of Rs141.93 per liter due to a drop of Rs1.03 per liter.
Kerosene is now available at Rs154.90 per liter, a reduction of Rs3.57 per liter.
