LAHORE – Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh took his oath as acting Chief Justice (CJ) of the Lahore High Court (LHC) today.
The oath was administered by Justice Shahid Karim to Acting Chief Justice Abid Aziz.
The oath-taking ceremony took held at the LHC Judges’ Lounge.
Justices Syed Shehbaz Ali Rizvi, Shams Mehmood Mirza, and Tariq Saleem Sheikh presided over the oath-taking ceremony.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by federal and provincial law enforcement personnel, officials from the Lahore High Court Bar and Lahore Bar Associations, and members of the legal community.
Tanveer Akbar, LHC DG Judicial and Case Management, was also present at the swearing-in event.
