ISLAMABAD — The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has received a report from jail authorities regarding the facilities provided to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.

The hearing took held before Chief Justice Aamer Farooq, who reviewed the petition filed by lawyer Azhar Siddique about Imran Khan’s prison accommodations.

The petition sought IHC to provide Imran Khan with facilities in compliance with international norms and jail standards. The court requested a report covering the last two weeks.

Chief Justice Farooq enquired about the exact amenities supplied to Khan and suggested that the Adiala Jail administration provide information on the current circumstances and facilities available.
