ISLAMABAD: In response to Bushra Bibi’s request for case facts and to move to the appropriate court to stop the detention, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has asked Rawalpindi DIG Operations to respond by August 7.

Today, the matter was heard by IHC Justice Aamer Farooq. Sardar Latif Khosa, the consul for Bushra Bibi, showed up in court.

Bushra Bibi was booked in nine charges on May 9, and consul Sardar Latif Khosa told the court that she had been arrested in one of those cases even though no investigation had been launched.
