(Reuters) – Borussia Dortmund has signed German midfielder Pascal Gross from Brighton & Hove Albion, the clubs announced on Thursday.
Gross has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga club and will leave Brighton after seven seasons in the Premier League, where he made 261 appearances in all competitions and scored 32 goals.
“In terms of his contribution on the pitch, Pascal goes down as the club’s greatest-ever Premier League signing,” Brighton chairman Tony Bloom said.
“He has been with us since the start of the Premier League era, and has been such a superb player for us.”
