PARIS (AFP) Novak Djokovic survived a furious second-set comeback to upset Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros on Monday, marking the 60th encounter between two of tennis’ all-time greats at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Novak Djokovic defeated a tenacious Rafael Nadal on Monday in what is likely the final chapter of their historic tennis rivalry at the Paris Olympics, while British diver Tom Daley won his fifth medal in five games.

In the pool, Canada’s Summer McIntosh began her campaign for the 400m medley gold in the early session, while Australian Ariarne Titmus was widely expected to win her second swimming gold later in the day.
