(Web Desk) – Due to the harshness of the weather in Punjab, the School Education Department has prolonged the winter breaks.

Following the announcement, the school vacation was extended to January 9 due to the inclement weather caused by cold temperatures and fog.

It is worth noting that winter vacation began in Punjabi schools on December 18.

It was previously stated that the provincial administration may adjust the timetable of school reopenings owing to the cold weather.

If the cold weather continues, the provincial authorities may consider adjusting the school reopening schedule.

Furthermore, parents have encouraged officials to prolong winter vacation by another week.
