ISLAMABAD :– In conjunction with the 2019 general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to approach higher courts in order to create appellate tribunals.
According to reports, the ECP has directed provincial election commissioners to call the chief justices of the five high courts on a war footing and solicit their recommendations for appeal tribunals via a communiqué.
The ECP indicated that these appellate panels will be made up of high court justices.
