ISLAMABAD – On Monday, a special court was constituted under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).
The court’s new responsibility has been handed over to Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasnat, who will consider cases brought under the OSA.
This is Islamabad’s first and only court dedicated to OSA matters.
Hearings under the OSA will be held in camera, according to the legislation.
According to sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who was detained in the cipher case, will appear in court after some time.
