On Wednesday, the Supreme Court denied a new petition requesting the formation of a full court to hear appeals challenging civilians’ trials in military courts.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court reserved its decision on the new petition.

Judges were not accessible for the full court, according to Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. “Some of the judges are on leave. “The court earlier formed a larger bench with available judges,” he noted. The CJP stated that the supreme court would be unable to create a full bench before September.
