Prime Minister Justin Trudeau turned to Twitter to try to persuade American pop diva Taylor Swift to add some Canadian dates to her “Eras Tour” after she announced 14 new European dates.
“Hello, it’s me.” I know there are locations in Canada that would love to have you. Don’t let this summer be another painful one. “We hope to see you soon,” Trudeau said late Wednesday in response to Swift’s previous tweet announcing the additional tour dates.
Swift’s 2019 single “Cruel Summer” is currently on tour and has been a greater smash this year than when it first appeared on her “Lover” album.
