The new Pakistani embassy in Baghdad’s foundation stone was laid on Tuesday by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

Fuad Hussein, the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs of Iraq, joined Mr. Bhutto-Zardari at the foundation-stone-laying event.

Both the Iraqi ambassador, Hamid Abbas Lafta, and the ambassador of Pakistan, Ahmed Amjad Ali, took part in the celebration.

Mr. Bhutto-Zardari felt that the building of the Pakistani embassy complex in Baghdad was favourable on this occasion.

FM Bhutto-Zardari visited the mausoleum of Imam Musa Kazin earlier today.
