The army chief and the president of the UAE spoke about defence cooperation

General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met to discuss bilateral ties.

According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the UAE president spoke via phone with the army commander on bilateral defence relations and military cooperation.

During their call, they emphasised the need of increasing mutual defence and military cooperation, according to the ISPR.
