KARACHI (Web Desk) — Pakistan’s former captain Shahid Afridi chastised Karachi Kings Coach Wasim Akram after the Karachi Kings lost the first three matches of the upcoming Pakistan Super League season eighth.
Afridi advised Akram to take professional approach in coaching the squad since it was tough to manage the players while living in Australia. “If Wasim Akram has accepted responsibility, he should give time to Karachi Kings,” he added.
Shahid Afridi recommended Akram to spend more time with the squad and that giving ideas to the team while overseas was inappropriate.
Karachi Kings’ PSL voyage did not begin as well as they had intended, as they were defeated in their first three matches.
So far, Kings have lost to Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators, while their sole win came on Sunday against Lahore Qalandars.
