LAHORE- A session of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Punjab Wing’s governing council was convened at the party headquarters on Prison Road, where comprehensive discussion on the ‘Jail Bharo movement’ was place.

Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood provided detailed briefings to the attendees, and tactics for the movement’s success were finalised.

At the start of the movement, a ceremony would be organised in honour of the party’s top officials and workers who would face detention.

Yasmin Rashid said that the incarceration of the party’s employees would cause the cells to become overcrowded, and that the movement would be nonviolent and in accordance with the constitution. Fear could not be instilled in the minds of PTI workers and leaders by the authorities.

The session was attended by Andleeb Abbas, Dr Azeemuddin, Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood, Zubair Niazi, Amna Janjua, Rukhsana Naveed, Sadia Sohail Rana, Mehar Wajid Azeem, Ahmed Talha, Mian Awais Anjum, Shaukat Bahtti, and Khaild Gujjar.
