PESHAWAR – In the early hours of Wednesday, a magnitude 3.3 earthquake shook Swat, Lower Dir, and their neighbouring territories in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by Dunya News.
People fled their houses in terror and began reciting passages from the Holy Quran. No loss of life or property was recorded anywhere in Mirpur as a result of the earthquake.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad, the earthquake’s epicentre was 30 kilometres below the surface in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
