The Supreme Court’s Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail has asked Pakistan’s Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial to take suo motu notice of a forest fire in the Balochistan district of Sheerani.
The steps and resources deployed to put out the fire, according to Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, are insufficient, and the Chief Justice should take suo motu notice and direct the government to address the significant problem created by the fire.
During the hearing of a lawsuit submitted by the lawyers of Sheerani District regarding the fire at the Supreme Court Quetta Registry, Justice Jamal Khan made the appeal to the Chief Justice.
