Before the T20 World Cup in Australia, Pakistan may play a tri-nation series in New Zealand in October.
Bangladesh and New Zealand have been announced as the two sides for this series, according to details. Jalal Yunus, the BCB’s cricket operations chairman, has declared the series will be staged in Christchurch, with Pakistan set to be the third team.
Bangladesh will go to Australia for a weeklong camp in Adelaide, where they will play T20 practise matches against local teams before arriving in New Zealand. This is scheduled for September. The tri-series’ dates have yet to be revealed, but the most likely window is late September to early October. The World Cup begins on October 16, followed by the Super 12s, which include Bangladesh and New Zealand.
“Before the T20 World Cup, we will play more than 16 T20 matches,” Yunus remarked during a news conference.
