Iran’s armed forces would attack Israel’s heart if it makes “even the tiniest move” against the Islamic Republic, President Ebrahim Raisi said during a military parade on Monday, amid stalled talks between Tehran and international powers to resurrect a 2015 nuclear deal.
Israel, largely regarded as possessing the Middle East’s sole nuclear arsenal, has stated that it will not be bound by any Iran nuclear deal and may eventually take unilateral action against Iranian nuclear installations.
“The Zionist government (Israel), you should know that… if you make the slightest move against our nation, our armed forces would attack the heart of the Zionist dictatorship,” Raisi stated during a broadcast speech during a military parade commemorating National Army Day.
