Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid a visit to the Diamer-Bhasha Dam construction site on Sunday.
Given the national significance of the megaproject, the prime minister chose to pay a visit to the site despite the fact that Sunday is an official holiday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the event during his visit to the dam’s construction site in Gilgit-Baltistan, saying that the Diamer-Bhasha Dam is a critical project for electricity production, water storage, job creation, and economic strengthening.
