MOSCOW(AFP) – Following London’s sanctions on Russia for its military activity in Ukraine, Moscow said on Saturday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson and many other top UK officials will be barred entry.

“This move was taken in response to London’s relentless information and political campaign aimed at isolating Russia worldwide, creating conditions for restricting our country, and squeezing the domestic economy,” the foreign ministry declared in a statement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused London of “exceptional hostile conduct,” referring especially to sanctions imposed on Russia’s senior officials.

“Britain’s leadership is actively worsening the situation in Ukraine by equipping the Kyiv administration and coordinating similar efforts on NATO’s behalf,” the ministry claimed.
