The PML-Q files a petition against the deputy speaker in the LHC.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has filed a complaint in the Lahore High Court (LHC) arguing that authority should not be restored to the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.

According to the information, the PML-Q claims in the petition that the deputy speaker has joined a party and is now helping the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), despite the fact that the speaker and deputy speaker are supposed to be neutral.

According to the petition, when the deputy speaker supports one party, elections held under him would never be fair or transparent.
