LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly session to elect a new chief minister has been postponed, just minutes after the National Assembly rejected a no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Punjab Assembly’s proceedings were delayed till April 6 after barely six minutes today.

Following the adjournment, Punjab minister Fayyaz Chohan stated that six disgruntled Tareen members will also rejoin them. “The assembly proceedings were conducted in accordance with the constitutional standards,” he stated.
