ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the dissolution of the assembly in his State of the Nation Address on Sunday.
Immediately after Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri decided to reject the opposition parties’ no-trust petition against Prime Minister Imran Khan for allegedly being involved in a foreign conspiracy, the prime minister announced the dissolution of assembly in an address to the nation.
In his address, the prime minister branded the no-trust resolution against him a “foreign agenda” and congratulated the people on the motion’s defeat in the National Assembly.
