LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly will gather today (Saturday) to pick the province’s next chief minister, according to ARY News.
The Punjab Assembly will meet today at 11:00 a.m., according to Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar.
The session was called after Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar accepted the resignation of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. After meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, the governor accepted Buzdar’s resignation.
On March 28, CM Usman Buzdar presented his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
