ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan tasked former senator and PTI leader Faisal Vawda with assuaging the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) over the National Assembly no-confidence vote on Wednesday.
According to reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan phoned PTI leader and former federal minister Faisal Vawda on Wednesday morning and asked him to quickly travel to Islamabad for negotiations with the MQM-P.
According to sources close to the matter, Faisal Vawda and the government team will meet with the MQM-P party on Wednesday afternoon in parliament lodges to seek their support for the no-trust motion.
