ISLAMABAD: Shahzain Bugti, the leader of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) and a member of parliament, declared on Sunday that he will resign from the federal cabinet and leave the government after Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached out to him, according to A NEWS.
Bilawal Bhutto led a group of opposition leaders to Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader and MNA Shahzain Bugti to seek support for the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Members from both sides were present at the conference, when Bilawal Bhutto and Shahzain Bugti discussed political events in the country. Imran Khan’s coalition government included JWP MNA Shahzain Bugti.
After the meeting, the JWP leader told the media that the present administration had harmed the people of Balochistan’s trust, thus he resigned from the federal cabinet, albeit he was still assigned as SAPM for Balochistan matters.
