During a joint operation on Tuesday, the Pakistan Navy and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized drugs.
The counter-narcotics operation in the North Arabian Sea, according to published sources, was based on intelligence. The 3,000 kilogrammes of drugs seized are worth Rs. 750 million on the international market. The drugs were seized and sent over to customs for further legal action.
The successful anti-drug operation, according to authorities, demonstrates the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to combating illegal activity in its territorial seas. The Pakistan Navy will continue to perform its maritime defence and anti-illegal activity missions.
