The Swat public meeting has been postponed due to illness, according to Maryam Nawaz, vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

According to sources, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz will travel to Swat today (Tuesday) to address a large crowd at the Grassy Ground.

The PML-N vice-president is suffering from a high fever, according to PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, and doctors have advised her to rest entirely.

The PML-N leader has apologised to the people of Swat and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the postponement of the public demonstration.
