Disgruntled Raja Riaz, a PTI MNA and head of the Jahangir Tareen group, alleged on Wednesday that 24 members of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s governing party were present inside Sindh House in Islamabad.

He said that the whole nation and the media are aware that the police assaulted the Parliament lodges and that the opposition’s MNA was tortured before being arrested.

Following the attack on the Lodges, a dissatisfied PTI MNA claimed that those who had been disputing with the governing party over inflation, corruption, and lawlessness believed that whatever occurred in the Lodges may happen to them as well, therefore they chose to stay at Sindh House.

Raja Riaz said, “No one has offered us money, and we [the dissident lawmakers] would vote based on our conscience,” adding that they were not frightened of anybody and were merely present as a precaution.”
