On Saturday, Chaudhary Tanvir, the detained leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), was transported from Lahore to the Cantt police station in Rawalpindi.
Chaudhry Tanvir was detained by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) yesterday at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport as he sought to leave to another country.
Today, the legislator was taken to Lahore by a Karachi-based Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) squad.
On Sunday morning, ACE officials would bring Tanvir before a duty magistrate.
The PML-N leader was wanted by the anti-graft establishment (ACE). Following his arrest in Karachi, an ACE Rawalpindi team was despatched to take custody of him.
