On Thursday, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police deployed large contingents and barricaded all roads leading to Red Zone and D-Chowk in preparation of expected Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) rallies.

All three routes leading to the Red Zone have been closed, and Nadra Chowk has been barricaded in anticipation of a JUI-F rally, according to sources.

D-Chowk, as well as all routes leading to Parliament Lodges, have been closed by the government.

It’s worth remembering that the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and chairman of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, warned on Thursday that if our workers were not freed by 9:00 a.m. today, we will return to the streets (Friday).
